Jammu ; National Incredible Literacy Mission organized school level painting competition to aware school students about the importance of our environmental and natural resources. Students of Government Higher Secondary School Mandaal took part in this painting competition . This competition aimed to aware the school children about green wealth and need of conservation of forest ,water and other need full environment resources . “This year hundreds of students actively participated in this competition and has evaluated their approach for environment and water conservation through painting” Kavita Bali Secretary NILM J&K said.
Painting competition was organized under the guidance of Dr Anjana Principal of said school. School staff including Ritu Sabharwal I/C along with Sobida Rashid and Supreet Kour teachers actively participated in the event.
Painting competition certificates were distributed among the participants by the R S Thakur Project Director NILM J&K at the end of event . Thakur said , “This type of competitions are specially designed by our NGO to make a positive attitude among the children to love their surrounding and environment .” He further added that students are passionately participating in the competition.
