In an eventful day at NTA Nagrota, the NCC cadets of CATC-J10 visited the historic Suchetgarh Border Post. The visit was a profoud opportunity for the cadets to understand the strategic importance of Suchetgarh Border, which marks India’s resilient presence along the Internation frontier with Pakistan. The cadets were greeted with a warm yet firm welcome by the BSF officers, who introduced them to the daily responsibilities and challenges faced in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers. The atmosphere was charged with pride and discipline, as the cadets attentively absorbed the stories of valor shared by the officers. The most electrifying moments of the visit was witnessing the zealous and synchronized parade performed by the BSF troops. The commanding presence and precision of the soldiers left an indelible mark on the cadets, evoking a profound sense of respect and admiration.In a spirited endeavour to foster adventure and environmental consciousness, the 40 enthusiastic cadets, embarked on a captivating trek to the serene Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary in an event organised in conjunction with the Wild Life Protection in the Division of J&K. The cadets, brimming with energy and curiosity, set off on this exciting trek early in the morning, greeted by crisp, fresh air and the pristine beauty of natural surroundings. The journey was a holistic experience designed to inspire a profound connection with nature and imbue essential environmental awareness in these young minds wherein the cadets saw varied wild life and were introduced to various types of medicinal plants.
