Leh, November 10: Hyundai Motor India Foundation today inaugurated 5 new telemedicine centres under its Sparsh Sanjeevani healthcare initiative at high-altitude regions of Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir. The 4 centres were inaugurated at Kargil, Drass, Leh and Kharu in Ladakh and one at Bhalla in J&K.
The centres will provide vital healthcare services, enhancing the connection between healthcare providers and underserved communities in rural and remote areas across Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir.
Puneet Anand, vertical head corporate communication & social Hyundai Motor India said, “By expanding into Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir, these new centres will ensure essential health consultations to populations residing in some of the country’s most rugged landscapes.”
Tundup Nurbu councillor Phyang Constituency, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Council Leh said the centres will improve health and quality of life across the region of Ladakh and J&K.
