Inaugurates Tube Well under JJM Project at Panchayat Dinga Amb A costing worth Rs 3 Crore 72 lakh

Jasrota: MLA Jasrota Rajiv Jasrotia along with his wife Aruna Jasrotia today expressed heartfelt gratitude to people of Jasrota constituency for historic win in an impressive function organized at  Mangloor on Saturday. Expressing heartfelt gratitude, he dedicated his triumph to the people of the constituency and reaffirmed his commitment to working tirelessly for their welfare.

Jasrotia lauded the unwavering support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda, and the entire Jasrota Constituency team. He highlighted the collective strength and unity that drove this victory and reiterated his dedication to fulfilling the party’s agenda of development and good governance.

While addressing a jubilant crowd during thanks giving programme in East Jasrota Constituency, Jasrotia said, “This victory is a reflection of the overwhelming support of the people. I am deeply thankful to every individual who voted and placed their confidence in my vision for a progressive and developed Jasrota Constituency. This win belongs to each of you, and I will honor your trust with relentless efforts to transform our region.”

Jasrotia further emphasized his focus on infrastructure development, youth employment, and social welfare, ensuring that the needs of the people would be his top priority. “My mission is to turn Jasrota Constituency into a model of growth and prosperity, and I will work in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a ‘New Jammu and Kashmir,’ ensuring our region flourishes under inclusive development.”“Together, we can build a brighter future for Jammu and Kashmir,” he said, calling for continued unity and collaboration in the path to progress.

Jasrotia, in his address, reiterated the need to bring about social changes to improve the living standard of the constituency. He opined that change was needed in every aspect to work with a new vision for the welfare of the constituency. He acknowledged God for His blessings, the efforts made by the party office bearers and party workers to ensure his victory with a thumping margin.He said they won the election through the collective efforts given by all party workers starting at the grassroots level. “Now through all your blessings, I will represent you all to work for the welfare of our people, now guide me, give me constructive suggestions so that I will strive my best to do justice to our constituency for overall development,” Jasrotia said.

Jasrotia also said that the way people participated in the election clearly shows the confidence among people. He said that in the upcoming Panchayat, and Urban Local Body polls, an honest and nationalistic leadership will emerge victorious. Those who propagate politics of venom and division have been shown the mirror by the people, he said.He also said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has worked hard for the prosperity of the Union territory.

Meanwhile Jasrotia on Saturday said that the Jal Jeevan Mission envisaged by Government is all set to resolve archaic water crisis in Kandi belts forever. He was speaking after the inauguration of a Tube well under JJM Project at Panchayat Dinga Amb A costing worth Rs 3 Crore 72 lakh .Sarpanch Seema Gupta, Naib Sarpanch Bandhna Sharma, Ex – Sarpanch Kuldeep Gupta, Sarpanch Rocky ,Sarpanch kewal, Sarpanch Roshan, Gathi Singh, Gandharb Singh, Mandal Pradhan Samar Singh, Sarpanch Rakesh, Sarpanch Balwant, Sarpanch Shiv Dev also accompanied MLA Jasrotia during the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed tube well.

Speaking on the occasion, Jasrotia assured people that potable water availability in constituency will be well catered as the project worth Crores encompasses Water Supply Schemes, laying of new water supply lines and development of allied infrastructure which will fulfill the drinking water needs of all the inhabitants.He said that the government in J&K has been able to address the issues of people which they were confronting since ages only because of visionary insight of PM Narendra Modi. The PM took personal interest in finding out remedies to the problems which people faced in the region due to indifference of successive governments that reigned the region in the past.He expressed gratitude to PM Narendra Modi for launching JJM to resolve perennial problems of drinking water in Kandi regions of Kathua District. He said that time is not far when the dream of Har Ghar Nal Se Jal will be fulfilled in the Kandi belt.

Satish Sharma, Joint DirectorAgriculture Extension, Jammu.Jhiri Mela is organized every year to pay homage to Shri Bawa Jitto (Baba Jit MalDev ji Maharaj), a legendary saint farmer of the area who made his supremesacrifice about 650 years ago for rights and justice of the farmers.Earlier, Lieutenant Governor along with other dignitaries inspected ExhibitionStalls established by Department of Agriculture, Jammu which was the mainattraction for the farmers from the very first day of Annual Jhiri Fair. Progressivefarmers were also felicitated on the occasion for appreciable work in the field ofAgriculture.Exhibits of different wings of the Agriculture Department like VegetableImprovement Scheme, Mushroom Development Scheme, ApicultureDevelopment Scheme, Seed Certification Jammu, Soil Testing LaboratoryJammu, Seed testing Laboratory, Potato Development Scheme, Farmer TrainingCentre (FTC), Plant Health Clinic, Floriculture, Agriculture Research Engineer etcwere displayed in the stalls to create awareness among the farmers regardingmodern agricultural technology and to educate them on improved inputs usage.Various services such as soil testing, crop disease diagnosis and management,Kissan Credit Cards, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, PM-KISAN etc. are alsobeing provided in the mela to the farmers.Farmers on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the Department for makingthis event beneficial and informative through the display of various relevantstalls, useful literature and providing detailed knowledge about the differentschemes and programmes being implemented and promoted by the department.More than 200 live exhibits of paddy, maize, exotic vegetables, mushroom andsugarcane crop brought by the farmers of different places were displayed to thepublic in the mela.
