The Indian Army organise a successful distribution of water storage equipment to residents of Upper & Lower Sanoti villages. This initiative was aimed at enhancing access to safe drinking water and improving storage capacity for the local community, particularly in households with limited resources. The event saw strong participation with a total of 63 villagers attending the event, who expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Indian Army. 44 households received a 40 ltr Water Jerrican each, helping them to store and transport clean drinking water more efficiently. The event ensured an outreach to all eligible families, especially in the upper reaches of the border villages. It was widely appreciated by the local populace including the community elders who also highlighted the benefit of this essential resource. This effort reinforces the Indian Army’s commitment to community welfare and continues to strengthen bonds with the local population through constructive engagement.
