Kaith Biradari pays obeisance to Uttami Devi on her annual day
R.S.PURA, November 15:
In a vibrant display of devotion and communal harmony, the annual day of Urrami Devi, a reverral spiritual female deity, was joyously commemorated at her temple in Kothay Chohala.
Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Kaith Biradari Committee headed by Hony Captain Girdhari Lal, the grand religious function drew thousands of devotees from across Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab.
The temple complex radiated with spiritual fervour as devotees converged to pay obeisance to Uttami Devi seeking her blessings for the peace and prosperity of humanity. Amidst Pooja-Archana rituals and sacred hymns, the devotees fervently expressed their reverence for the deity.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries ADG Garib Dass, R.L.Kaith,, Tr Ravi Kaith, Subedar Bachan Lal, Master Naresh Kumar, Bharati Bhushan and Jagdish Raj.
